
You can almost imagine the conversation. "I like the French language. It is a classy language." "Yes! Yes it is!" "Customers also think French is a classy language." "Yes! Yes they do!" "Studies show customers are in fact 27% more likely to purchase a product with a French-sounding name." "But what shall we call it?" "I have a brilliant idea!"
As one blogger put it: "wasn't there someone in headquarters who might've said 'asses, yes well, i'm not sure we want to put that word on the packaging of a chocolate filled cookie'?"
Apparently not.
