About the Women in Technology Site
Welcome to WomenInIT.net!
This site is a collection of organizations, resources, and cool links focusing primarily on, well, women and information technology. Originally founded by Jerry McDonough at the School of Information Management & Systems, the site has morphed somewhat over the years, and now also covers science, research, engineering, and other technology-related fields, but has tried to stay true to Jerry's original vision.
Please note: I am unable to answer queries personally, and I don't have additional information about scholarships or jobs. Fastweb is a great source of scholarship resources, and JobStar has tons of jobs and career information.
About the technology behind Womeninit.net
This site is powered by a wonderful application called Movable Type, developed by a husband-and-wife team in San Francisco, Ben and Mena Trott.
Got something to say?

Hey, this site is sexist! I demand a change in name to peopleinit.net!

I understand that peopleinit.net is already taken. but Michael's point is valid. This site has far too much emphasis on technology and not enough on bikinis. www.womeninibikinis.net, now that's a good idea.
