We San Francisco Bay Area residents love our coffee. We've launched coffee chains. We argue passionately about who brews the best cup. We sneer at Starbucks (well some of us do.) But I think there's one thing we can all agree on...
Coffee should be black, or at least very very dark brown.
Don't get me wrong. I love gold. It's pretty and shiny and valuable. But if my coffee is gold, I have to assume something has gone horribly wrong.
So I think I'll skip the Golden Coffee, thank you very much. See you at Starbucks!
