College Times: Recent Articles Related to Library Science inspired a lively discussion on at least one librarian mailing list, because it accidently included some World Wrestling Federation articles in it. But the Times fixed their filters, evidently, and it's much better now. Not sure about how they filter or sort their articles; some go back to last May, but still, interesting stuff.

If they can't make it, who can?

Argus Associates announced that they were shutting their doors at the end of the month. They seemed like one of the more stable, sensible web consulting firms in the business. Not only that, but their founders were MLS folks, for crying out loud! (And wrote a wonderful book, "Information Architecture for the World Wide Web") This seems more ominous than anything else that has happened so far...
