Computers & Technology: January 2002 Archives

If I have one New Year's resolution...

|

It is to remember to update this site more often! (Heck, you didn't expect me to vow to lose ten pounds or read all of Marcel Proust's works, did you?)So I'm going to attempt to remember to post just one thing each day. Just one teensy-tiny item. That shouldn't be so hard.OK, here's my first. An interesting article from the San Francisco Chronicle (November 27, but just noticed it today) on Incredibly Strange Databases. It's actually more about community websites (slashdot, Craigslist) and how their archives can be quite revealing about the times in which they were created. (Like the rise and fall of computer job postings on Craigslist.)And that's it for now!
