Unintentionally funny, and quite revealing, quote from a Republican pollster on NPR this morning:
"Republicans are still in a hole and must claw their way back into the trust of the public."
Right. While you're at it, you probably also need to stab your long record of public service into voter's brains, and strangle any sense of distrust out of their throats...
