Bush signed a law in 1999 that lets hospitals pull the plug on life
support if treatment is deemed to be futile, even if the family doesn't
want them to. Oh, and another deciding factor is whether or not the
family has any money to keep paying for it.
Now what's he doing intervening in the Schiavo case?
