Make a martyr out of Gavin Newsom because he gave marriage licenses to gay couples. I dare you. Hell, this would be the crowning touch to Newsom's rehabilitation as a progressive mayor — up until a few weeks ago, everyone thought he was practically a Republican! Do the fine folks in the American Family Association Center for Law and Policy have any idea how stupid they're making themselves look?
