Saw Ghost World and loved it, especially its wonderfully eclectic and quirky soundtrack. Wanted to buy the album immediately.Amoeba records didn't have it.But eMusic did! How's that for instant gratification.

Being of a short attention span, I've never felt good when job hunting (OK, who does) and confronting the incredibly specialized job descriptions. Specialized always seemed to mean boring. I like to do a bit of everything, even when it means I'm in over my head a lot of the time.So imagine my joy when I read this article in Web Techniques...it's OK to be a generalist, again! There was also an interview with Dru Miller in the Chronicle where she said pretty much the same thing, but now the article seems to not be there. Hello?
Usability on a Shoestring. I need to do a lot more user testing than I do! (I'm going to Web2001 so maybe I'll get some inspiration)

So there! Not that I'm gloating.OK, I am gloating. What was it with those ads? Why did they always feature scantily-clad women, even though over half the net is now female? Their campaign was so, like, 1996...But that's another rant for another day.
